Pitt County offers a rigorous and relevant curriculum for gifted students. One that involves investigation and demonstration in order to build upon students understanding. Pitt County believes that students who are considered gifted need a curriculum that supports higher ordered learning. There are three themes your child will explore throughout middle school: Patterns, Change and Conflict. It is Pitt Counties hope that through the use of 21st Century teaching and research based practices that each student in the gifted program will analyze each theme in new ways to deeper their understanding.
